I have started a female Farseer Jetbike utilising the left over bits from a High Elf Dragon, some green stuff, and plastic card. now I just gotta paint her :)

The MBA Infernal Device repaint

Repaint of MBA's Infernal Device, mostly to be used as a Dark Eldar webway portal. We took it back to just painting it with airbrush for a base color, and then added some small details, and freehanded the the flying skull.

The Temple of Skulls

My wife's first piece of terrain. She saw it at a local FLGS, snatched it as I pointed at it, went to the counter, paid for, and started painting it. She also purchased the new Liquid Green Stuff( amazing stuff!!) and waited impatiently as it dried, she spent maybe a total of 7 hours painting and this is the finished result!!!

Dusted off my Space Wolves and added a new troop squad after years of not playing them..
And My wife's personal army of Dark Eldar, two of her HQ's and more to follow....

well having opened a box of Finecast Dark Reapers, I have to say I am less than impressed with the new molding. There is a lot more flash, most of the individual pieces are warped, and clean up is about twice as long as the old pewter models. I would give Finecast a big thumbs down :-(

Ok, first impressions of the Finecast models are very good. However, GW has a tendency to get lax after a few months, so we will see then. Right now they look awesome, the detail is crisp and clear. The models seem like they have more detail, but in truth, umtil I get one of the new ones to compare to an old pewter one, well, we'll see.
