Harbinger-Protectorate of Menoth

This was a challenging model to paint as well as construct and thought everyone would enjoy seeing the process.
Here are a few shots of  the under paint steps. First base coat brown on all fabric and armor followed by cream on fabric areas to pull out details and green for flesh. We thought she looked like an Orion slave girl like this :-)

Then I base coated the monks robes and flag insignia Sanguine Highlight and painted armor details Bloodstone.
Next finished painting all the flesh and began building the many layers of wet blended creamy white for the Harbingers robes.

Each part was pinned to aid in assembly. We chose to use jewelers chain instead of the chain section that comes in the model kit and attached it to her sides with straight pins from sewing kit.

Here is a closeup of the flag with highlights applied.

The filigree details on her robes.
