Ok, first impressions of the Finecast models are very good. However, GW has a tendency to get lax after a few months, so we will see then. Right now they look awesome, the detail is crisp and clear. The models seem like they have more detail, but in truth, umtil I get one of the new ones to compare to an old pewter one, well, we'll see.

The Keeper of Secrets had some tentacles added to the existing horns, and the side horns were flipped upside down and had tentacles added as well to bring it more in line with the earlier Cthulu model.
