Tyranid Hive Tyrant for Nova Open Charitable Event 2018

I'm delighted to participate in the Nova Open Charitable event this year and if those of you not familiar please take the time to check out this wonderful raffle event to raise money for some incredible causes. Each year this event grows and never disappoints all who participate and benefit from the efforts of the gaming and hobby communities. The cool thing is one doesn't need to be present to win and they will ship it free to anywhere in the world!

Below are some decent resolution photos of HCS contribution which is one of MANY amazing raffle armies, detachments, and individual models.   My hubby Rick did the modeling honors on this Tyranid Hive Tyrant and I Mary, the basing and the paint. The wip/arm is pewter in case anyone wondered and the rest of the model is plastic. There is a 360 view video posted on YouTube if interested.

Crashed Thunderhawk & Prefab Battle Fortress for Horus Heresy Space Wolves

Here are some shots of the crashed Thunderhawk 2'x2' terrain panel produced by Forge World we recently completed. It was fun pulling out all the terrific detail on this piece. I tried to create a slurry of chemical spills coming from the damaged engines.  

Also, below are photos of the Prefab Battle Fortress with the twin turbo laser painted in Space Wolves Horus Heresy colors.
